I'm speaking purely from personal, first hand experience, my friend.
Is that bias, Obi-Wan? Or just observable fact?
Sounds like I just have more information than the average observer.
So this goes back to my original question - who's home are you thinking of wrecking?

The trip back to Coruscant will take time, which is good, because Obi-Wan wants to spend some of it with Ezra before getting back. Less because he thinks something should be hidden from his peers, but more because he wants a better picture about what they're getting in to. Time travel was no common occurrence, and the fact it is a Jedi padawan does not really feel like a coincidence. The Force works in mysterious ways, but he isn't sure anything could quite top this.
Not this week anyway.
He sends a missive ahead to let the others know what's happening and shares a brief conversation over holo with Anakin on the matter before freeing himself up. It should have given Ezra ample time to get a least marginally settled — the scale of everything seemed to hold some special cause for wariness in the young one — but Obi-Wan still makes a point of finding him with a cup of tea in hand. He offers this to Ezra when they meet again.

He accepts the tea with a quiet thank you, and wonders if tea is a general cultural Thing, at the main Temple. Kanan has mentioned certain blends reminding him of his own master - it's one of the few specific personal things Kanan had ever brought himself to mention about Master Billaba.

That he's on a Star Destroyer isn't helping. He was vaguely aware that the general design was Republic before it was Empire, but it really is eerily similar to the ships he's used to seeing as the enemy.
